reverie of lucid affinity
51Image created by Cris A ...for me :)
To soar with grace
reverie, lucid, free
Eternal, droplets
Descend, entwined
Two within singularity, intrepid
Fidelity infinite in our
Wake, now placid cool azure, salvage
Roaring seas, lonely, aching, empty vessel
>
As a cloud to air
reverie, lucid, free
Passion cupped within
Reflecting the souls I read
Free, I am from loneliness
Breathe in, love I seize
Droplets, of dreams I share
reverie, lucid, free
Palpable ripples of fervor.
My lil' rant
This poem is dedicated to Cris A ,a passionate and inspirational, artistically gifted, hubber & friend! I am so over the moon with how Cris visualizes me, for he has never seen me but through poems and correspondence, not my person. To see the image above sets my inspiration on fire, to see such a beautiful image. The image speaks volumes to me on many levels of symbolism of how I see love, passion soul. I feel truly blessed.
I felt a huge feat to place words to the image and I am humbled in hope that those chosen can give the even slightest compatibility. Love you, Cris! Thank you so very much for such a lovely image!
And, yes , I am aware that my response is that of a babbling babbler, but hey, wouldn;t you be too, if some visualized something sooo amazingly beautiful for you! =)
You can find Cris' inspirational reflections below:
if you were a wallpaper: photoshop images for some of my favorite hubbers redux
There are many others whom inspire me here and really what you see is a reflection of the feelings ignited from my expereince. Truly my poems are reflections of you! Too many to name though, I am sure the main one's know who they are! :) Thank you, always

Great poem, invictus. I too was bitten by the Cris A bug, as you know. I really do like your tribute as it perfectly compliments Cris's work. Beautiful.
Beautiful. What can we say? You've already expressed it so much better in a poem.
The image is beautiful...the poem is perfect...off to check out Cris A...Thank you!
what can i say, the two best hubbers unite. x
I must say that your writing is so beautiful--and a beautiful image to accompany. It is such a pleasure to read your work. I do want you to know this. You are a true artist with words--and it will continue to get better for you--I wish you the very best, continue on with your brilliant work!
adieu!
You've chosen your words very carefully this time invictus. My warmest greetings to you and to my friend Cris.
Very nice. You captured the lucid feeling of being in a dream and described it well!
Invictus, I only know you through your hubs, but I believe as you said Cris A has depict a great expression of your essence.
And thanks for providing a connection to Cris A because I am now a fan of his work. Your poetry to his image is simply a work of art as well. Great Job!
It's a pleasure reading the words that the image painted. Of coure, only you can write a poem about it and how!
Thanks for sharing this. It said a lot of things that the image failed to reveal. Or things that it only revealed to the writer.
Btw, I think I gained some fans through you! So make that double thanks! :D
Great poetic tribute to a great kid. Your talent always impresses me. Will you ever reveal you to me? After all you've seen me naked for sometime now, even my naked butt is on one of my hubs. hugs hubhunny

So he nailed you then, with his image? And your poem Invictus was deliciously liquid.
