Shades of Green
As I lay and listen
Many surround
You are near, not so far
My dream is gently unwound
As a blade of grass in a gale
My heart is riveting with your presence
Time is still
Only a few see
Through this encroaching light
A whisper
A smile
A giggle
A knowing
Wthin this space we are grounded, yet rise
Twas here I reclaimed light
A plan in the brewing
To live as I sought
Must play
Dance
Be
Ever in this thought
Heal the broken window beneath me
Your eyes
Pale, yet supple skin
Prep boy hair, brown and thick
Reminds me of beautiful times
Young and furious
Connecting our beliefs
Raining fires of life beyond uncertainty
Many years have past, after searching
Having felt that certain shade of Green
We were provided food of those we did not hire
To break the chains to free our desire
To live and breath in a certain way
Therefore, you and the rest walk along with me through my days
Though at times I wonder where you are now.

Thank you, Disturbia. I cherish simple moments of time of genuine soul connections. The avatar is a painting by a lovely artist I met while in Grenada, West Indies. Once I saw the painting, Invictus came to my mind. The trials we face should not invade our soul, yet season it.
The colors of emotion wash over us ever changing within the spectrum.
Pink, blue, red, yellow all evocative and compelling.
Thank you for bringing us this special shade of green.

This is very nice. Though at times I wonder where you are now. I suppose in that patch of green? I have been so busy and cannot keep up with the great stuff going on here any more. This is very nice. I must try and keep up with you somehow, keep bumping me to bring me round
